About our visual artists

BB Sconyers

Barbara (BB) Sconyers is an Atlanta native who produces mixed-media modern, contemporary abstracts inspired by artists like Jackson Pollock and Carl Owens. Using high textures, bright colors, unconventional paint-mixing, and what she labels “uniform chaos.” BB finds her inspiration from African-American literature, jazz, Gospel music, and her faith.

Jeff Perkins

Jeff Perkins is an Atlanta native who produces modern, vibrant paintings with images of fish, guitars, mouths, eyes, people and the city skylines. His first painting was an abstract symbolic painting that covered every wall and door of which only “The Door” survives. His work draws inspiration from Williem De Kooning, Pablo Picasso and his own life as a musician, composer and avid fisherman.
